A versatile contractor with an owner’s perspective.

Matt grew up in the property development and management business working for his dad’s property management company, which managed a number of office buildings, apartment communities, retail centers, and professional medical office buildings.

Every summer through his early twenties, Matt worked alongside the maintenance staff on those properties, handling repairs and upkeep of every kind. That is where he learned how buildings are built, how they wear, and how they are kept running.

As an adult, Matt has held a residential contractor’s license in Arizona and has bought, remodeled, and sold four homes. He served as general manager of a precast concrete manufacturer in Tempe, Arizona, overseeing every part of production, and he brings a deep working knowledge of concrete to every job.

He has also served as Regional Director of Construction for a national multifamily REIT, overseeing capital improvement and deferred-maintenance work across roughly 18 to 20 properties in multiple states. As an owner’s representative for a well-known Dallas developer, he worked on a number of notable commercial and multifamily projects in downtown Dallas. Alongside that work, he spent 18 years as an independent property claims adjuster handling losses of all types, on just about every kind of building imaginable, all over the country.

That combination means Matt understands a project from every side: what the owner needs, how buildings fail, how damage is documented, and how repairs should be scoped, priced, and managed.
